Online renewal fail

My contract runs out in January and via the my virgin media app I was offered a reduced cost to renew now. I took up the offer online and received confirmation of the new cost and a new contract. However the my vrign app is still offering me reduced renewal cost and my latest bill,is at the old higher cost. Put in a complaint and was told they had no record of the new contract so I emailed them the copies I received. Nothing heard for the last 2 days even though I have emailed asking for an update. The next payment at the higher cost comes out of my account soon, is it worth ringing them (and waiting ages for a reply and then having to go,over everything again) or should I wait a bit longer for them to get back to me? I'm losing faith in them sorting this out.

    I would suggest waiting here for a VM Mod to pick this up and chase for you.  As for waiting for a call back, I wouldn't hold my breath.  This seems to be a common topic at the moment, failed offers via online app.  You might have had more success if you phoned in and said you were cancelling your contract ...

    Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re experiencing with your contract after taking out a new deal. I'm happy to take a look, but first. When did you take the new deal? New deals can take up to 14 days to be fully implemented.

      I renewal on 14th November so should have gone through by now. I raised the complaint but have not been updated so I haven't a clue what is happening as the complaints dept could notmfi d the new contract.
