New customer - unable to link/ create account.
I recently signed up for VM broadband and wanted to create an account. The process started fine — when I clicked “register,” it redirected me to Virgin Media O2. So far, so good. But then it asked me to link my account. I entered all the required details, but it said a different email was associated with the account. That’s completely incorrect — I received all my contract emails at this address and I don’t use any other email.
I tried entering the same email again, hoping it would connect, but instead it said the email didn’t match and warned me I had only 3 attempts left (very strange).
I then clicked on “Forgot email” to see what email they were referring to for my VM account. The page bizarrely showed “[Object:Object]” as my email, which obviously isn’t helpful.
I called VM, and they advised me to wait 3 Days and try again, as their team was working on it. I waited and tried, but the issue still remains.
How to access the account, I also need to use that with MY VM app. Please help.
