Need to Register Power of Attorney

Question

Good Evening&nbsp;I need to register power of attorney on my father in laws account - and then discuss the termination of his contract as he is going into full time care.&nbsp;he won’t speak to anyone so I can’t get him to go through security to allow me to talk to people for him - hence needing to use the power of attorney.can you let me know how I do it please?
