Need Help! Cancel Cancellation.

Hi, could anyone advise me on what to do. My contract with VM ends on the 18th of December but I did a broadband switch to Sky, all my Sky services went live today (3rd December) but now it’s up and running with the new Sky stream puck I’m not very happy, I want to cancel Sky and go back to virgin, is this possible? Or have I messed it up. My virgin wifi went off a few hours after Sky was activated. But I’ve accepted VMs renew deal.. so I’m unsure what to do? Can I cancel the virgin media being cut off & stay with them? & use the cooling down period for sky? Thanks

    It's lovely to hear you are thinking of returning to us having switched to sky. Depending on if you completed a one-touch-switch order with us, depends on how we can help with this. 

    One-touch-switch disconnections are put in place via your new provider and so they have control of the switch date, and disconnection date. We can't edit disconnections processed in this way (or cancel them) - it all has to be done directly with your new provider. If this is the case for you, you'd then need to re-join us as a new customer. 

    If your services with us Disconnected on the date you joined sky, it sounds like your disconnection completed and so you are no longer an active customer. If you want to return, you'd need to re-join. As we sadly can't take new sales via this platform so your best bet is giving the team a call via 📞0800 183 1234.

    Is it the puck, or the fact you can't record?  The new offerings from VM are now also a "puck" with no recording facility.

    Strange, as you stated you have completed the OTS and the VM services have been terminated?

    Either way, you are too late to cancel VM, but you can still cancel Sky, I suspect, within the cooling off period.  Don't forget, you will also need to send back the VM kit and your email address with VM, will be purged after 90 days.
