My Virgin media App

Hi, can anyone tell me how to un-bond my email address from an account on the app.

If I use the app it takes me to an old account and I can't tie it to a new account as it says email already in use. TIA

    To confirm, is it a Virgin Media email address?

  • No, it's my normal Gmail address that I used to create the account

      You can manage your My VM account details via the account directly - there's instructions on how to do this here 👉 https://www.virginmedia.com/help/billing-and-payments/manage-my-account in the section titled 'FAQ's' > 'How do I update my details in My Virgin Media' or 'How to remove a user from My Virgin Media account' (the next one down). 

      Let us know how you get on! 

      If there's been a bit of confusion about what the issue is, and that you are actually trying to log in to My VM to view a current services account, but it keeps showing a former account - just let us know! This requires a slightly different fix.

        Can't seem to do what I want there.  I'll try and explain :

        I joined virgin and was given an account number 123456789.  I then set up the app to access that account using email address 1

        That account was cancelled and closed.  I then set up a new account with account number 987654321 and tried to set up the app with the same email but it said address in use so I used another email address email address 2,  that account is also closed so I want to release these two email addresses from the accounts.
