Moved House, Strange Thing Happened

I moved house on Wednesday 3rd Dec. I informed VM who said that the new house had a connection and it was ready to go, on the day. I set up all the equipment and it came straight on with everything working fine. I checked it was my account (VM reference) and thought that was that.

I did need an engineer visit as the bedroom box has no connection. This is scheduled for Monday the 8th December.

However, when I got home last night, the internet connection was no longer active and nothing worked. I called VM who then claimed that it had never been on and that it couldn't be activated again until the engineer had been on Monday. This, they claimed, was that it was now booked under an "engineer visit" and that was the only way to activate it. 

Has anyone else had this issue? I am left with antenna TV for 5 days and I'm not happy about it. If it was on and working on Wednesday, how is it off now?

    Sorry to hear about your recent experience moving home with our services. We appreciate you must be feeling frustrated! We'd need to have a closer look at the account to see what happened, and help get a complaint raised if needed. 

    Just to set expectations - we may not be able to get the services back up and running any more quickly if you have been advised an engineer is needed, and one already booked in - but we will do our best to offer further help.
