London NW1 serial Virgin outages over last 2 months - OUTRAGEOUS

I've just sent this to Virgin Media's CEO - what are the odds of actually hearing back from him:

Dear Lutz,

You may recall us sitting next to each other at a government event a number of years ago. I’m writing to complain about the level of outages that local residents, including my household, have had to undergo in the Camden Square area over the last two months.

We get nearly daily messages to say that an engineer is on its way to solve problems which by now, surely, should’ve been holistically dealt with? I know that a number of my neighbours are looking to change their service provider as a result of the failing service from virgin media.

Seeing that this area is filled with senior politicians, journalists, lawyers etc (in short folk who like complaining and whose social network is worth keeping on side) I thought I’d let you know personally what a disastrous reputation virgin media currently has locally.

Good luck with it but better still: please get on top of this as an organisation.

Many thanks,

Marc Vlessing OBE

You are unlikely to receive a reply from the VM forum team here in ‘Community Natter’. A VIP or moderator might move your topic to a better forum, such as ‘Managing Your Account – Cable’ to get a VM reply.

Edit: Topic has now been moved

  • Virgin Media would need a decent reputation to begin with for it to be tarnished.

  • Hi mvlessing

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I'm very sorry to hear of any issues with the service. From checking, there is an area fault, reference F011768751. The estimated fix date is 20th May. We're very sorry as it's an ongoing issue but we're doing everything we can to resolve this asap.

    Best wishes.
