Linking VM with O2

Hi, I have been looking at these threads with interest and trepidation.

I am a longstanding VM customer, no O2 accounts.

I was trying to log into my  webmail, and saw the page to link the accounts.

I know that I should no longer use my 3rd party email address to log in.

Questions:

I have both blueyonder and virginmedia email addresses. Which one do I use to set up the new VM O2 account?

Do I use the password associated with the 3rd party email login for the new account?

Do I use the BY or VM email address to register for the new account?

My webmail currently loads both BY and VM inboxes. Will this still be the case?

Will any of the above impact both BY and VM emails coming into the inbox on Android, which still work?

Many thanks in advance,

John

      Hi Sabrina,

Thanks for that, I have successfully added my VM email to webmail with a VMO2 account. However, when trying to add my BY email account  to webmail, it is saying that the password is incorrect, even though it worked perfectly on webmail, both email addresses working.

      Can you please advise.

      Thanks,

      John

Thanks for coming back to us John. Please can you follow the instructions below

Login > Account Settings >Virgin Media Mail Settings > Manage your Products > Verify that its yourself via whichever means available to you > Manage email password > Get new password

This should reset your BY email account and enable you to access your account once again.

        Kind Regards,
