Leaving O2 due to price hike?

I’m thinking of cancelling O2 due to the current price hike and moving to EE. What happens to my boosted Volt broadband speeds? I’ve read it remains until the end of the contract but can’t verify this? If VM remove them immediately do I have the right to cancel that contract too? We have 1 gig atm and tnt add ons and 2 hubs

You may loose the VOLT as you have cancelled O2, but I don't think that would allow you to leave VM without paying the disconnection fees.

  • Thank you. I’ve just found this “Because you have a Volt bundle, this right to cancel also applies to your Virgin Media package” so looks like I can cancel .. just need to try to confirm if my broadband package remains the same until the end of my contract, then I would stay until then. I like the virgin product but the customer service is very bad it’s a shame really.
