I have a lasting power of attorney set up for my mum, and I have tried to register it with Virgin Media for her account. I have been told on the phone I can't do this as I need the account holder to be present to answer security questions to enable me to register it. My mum isn't in a situation where she can answer these questions - that is the whole point of us having the power of attorney, so how am I supposed to register this with you?

Thank you, I realise I can post it to you, but wanted to do it by telephone rather than having to try to get a printed copy. It says I can only email a PDF version of it, which is not available for this document, so I will need to photocopy it somewhere and send it to you by post. Every other company I have organised this with has take the access code from the online version over the phone and arranged this straight away.
