is this a broadband connection as it looks like a tv to me

I am moving house and need to arrange a move with virgin media, however there are wanting me to do a self install which i am happy with but the box in the house i am moving to is different to the one in my old house is this a broadband connection or is this a tv connection my current virgin media box has a pin that screws in.   the new house has the below connection

    That does look like a Virgin Media coax connection. 

    There looks to be a terminator plug fitted, that would need to be unscrewed so you can connect the coax cable to the VM Hub.  If needed use a small spanner or pliers.

    As above, just unscrew the terminator cap from the threaded VM outlet. Self install kits are push fit, so the cable you will be supplied will push over the threaded outlet.
