Is it possible to resolve passkey and sign-in issues online?
The Vigin O2 merged account seems to be faught with issues. I did my best to mege accounts a few weeks ago and thought I hadd succeed. But I made the fatal mistake of selecting the passkey option. This works with many other providers but Virgin seems to be a different story. I do not seem to be able to retrieve the passkey on the device I set it up on. I am now completely locked out of My Virgin Media account and none of the recovery tools work.
Recovery tools: Using email to verify my identity results in a continuous loop of frustration or a blank screen. I have tried to use the passkey recovery code that I have but it just created another code and nether of the codes I have been given work.
The My Virgin media while pretty barebones and clunky by modern standards at least it had a login method that made sense. This is a complete step back to the days chaos and poor user experience and. Customer service is an afterthought at Virgin Media. You should not having to call a phone number and to spend hours on the phone trying to resolve a login issue in the age of AI. Having been a customer for nearly 30 years you would think you would be valued at least a bit.
Is there nothing that can be done online in the evening?
