Hub 3 & TV 360 box are joined at the hip!

Hi,
I re-joined Virgin Media in January and the new cabling splitter does not allow me to separate my TV 360 box and Hub 3. I want to use the Hub 3 upstairs to connect a laptop and PlayStation via ethernet.
I have an existing Virgin wall socket with coaxial connector.in the room upstairs.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

  • Sounds like you need a manned engineer installation to put the required co-ax connection points where you need them.

Connect the Hub 3 to the upstairs wall socket, do you get broadband? If so try to connect with 360, if no broadband call VM for tech asssitance (costs £25).

  • Hi there W1ntermute

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community forums, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry that you have faced this issue after your recent install. Have you been able to try the Hub in a new place? If not do you want to discuss an appointment to have the Hub relocated with us?

      Hi Ashleigh,
Not yet, I have a spare coax cable so I'll try doing this first thing tomorrow morning - it's Friday night so I don't want to disrupt everyone's evening. If this doesn't work can I arrange an appointment here?
      Thanks
