How do people get their Virgin landline fixed

My Virgin landline phone hasn't been working for months.  When I do the online diagnostics it tells me I have a problem.  I then call them up and the talking machine tells me I haven't got a problem and tells me to call back in ten minutes if I still have a problem.  I do all of that repeatedly without making any progress running up my mobile phone bill.

How do I get it fixed?
