Hard credit search
Hi Virgin Media team,
I am in the process of getting a relatively inexpensive tv/broadbank package for the next 18 months but have just received a message from ClearScore that you’re performing a hard credit check which will negatively impact my credit score for the next year at least.
Is it really necessary to perform a hard credit check on a contract that’s less than £40 per month when these sort of credit checks are usually reserved for the likes of mortgages?
I don’t want a hard credit check on my credit score.
