Fee for change of ownership after bereavement.

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I've recently taken over my mothers account after she passed away. I filled out a bereavement form online and all seemed quite straight forward to change ownership. 

Fast forward to today and I've received a bill for £219 which is shocking in itself but included in this is a £50 change of ownership fee!! I'm sorry but I think this is awful. Bear in mind its a simple change of name and bank details. No change to the package at this stage

Any help would be appreciated.

    You should check that they haven't also started you off with a new fixed term contract.
