engineer not shown up

hi i had an engineer to come monday they never showed up never got a call text nothing re arranged for thursday no one showed up again waited in and all afternoon lost loads off work as well i contacted virgin through what's app and they got someone to come out even though he couldn't fix problem on chat i got offered £25 compensation which i haven't got yet and person said 24 hours it takes. looking up about compensation it says if an engineer doesn't show up compensation would be £30 is this right and why haven't i received this

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with an engineer who didn't show up for your appointment. 

    If an engineer has not arrived at a scheduled appointment then, a £30.49 credit is automatically applied to the account through automatic compensation if eligible. There are some instances where automatic compensation is not granted, such as if an area fault was identified to be causing the fault you're experiencing, so the appointment is cancelled as would be unable to be resolved at the home. Any credits added to the account should show after 24 hours of being applied.
