Downgrade to Broadband only

Ive been with vm for longer than I care to remember. On the whole I've  mostly been happy with their service.

Reality is Im now paying a lot money for services I never use. I haven't switched the TV box on for over three months and the landline is a positive nuisance with spam calls. 

Im looking seriously at joining Plusnet with Brsk on its way in a years time. I would  be paying a third of the cost for even faster broadband. Ive tried to explain this to virgin but i've given up the will to live doing so. I just get offered the same for a bit less money,(im out of contract).

Does any have just internet access with them?

    Yes.  I would imagine lots of other users only have BB as well.

    Yup me too. I suggest a basic broadband only deal coupled with a good router of your own.

    Wow! what quick responses. All I get offered is to renew for similar. They don't specificaly say NO but won't answer the question. They know im serious about leaving too.

    I currently have a TP mesh system for a three story house so I should have any problems.

    Thanks for reaching out in regards to your services and looking to make changes to your package. It is possible to remove services, peoples needs and usage changes over time so it's not unusual for services to be dropped.

     

    When services are removed this does reduce the amount of discounts available and may be why the prices offered haven't appeared to be very attractive.
