Disconnected early during move process

Had a good discussion with the Virgin Media team on chat yesterday to transfer my current package from my current address to the new address. All agreed to cancel my current broadband service for the 31/1/25 and had an engineer booked for the 1/2/25 to set up in the new property. 

This morning when I was about to start work, I had no broadband and turns out they have already switched it off. Went on the chat to get this sorted and I have had the most unbelievable level of poor customer service. Firstly they said it would take 24-48 hours to reconnect me and I would also have to cancel my installation that has been booked in.  

Clearly the chat history has written from the agent I was talking to that my service would stop on the 31/1/25 and I have had a confirmation email about the engineer being booked. Will now be cancelling my virgin account and getting Sky Installed which they have already confirmed can be done.
