Disc+ access

Hi folks,

We've got VM and after much grumbling recently took on a separate Disc+ subscription to watch some of the TNT sports which are now pay, ex Eurosport if you like. Can I watch the paid for sports on TV via prime, or is that yet another type of subscription?

Would rather not have to cast.

Cheers in advance

Howie

    Hi HowJ

If you have a current TNT Sports subscription then you can watch the TNT Sports channels using the VM TVGO app which is available on ios and android tables and phones, and also via the TVGo website url https://virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/en.html

I can connect my PC to the TV via HDMI cable and watch in full screen.

The Discovery+ app and subscription unfortunately isn't available via VM, however most smart TV's do have the Discovery+ app available.  It's also available on Firesticks and modern Chromecasts.

The supported devices are shown <on this page>

Don't forget you can use the red button (not the record button) on your VM set top box on the TNT Sports channels which often show additional content.

  • Prime is a different subscription. If you subscribe via Prime you can only use Prime, and if you subscribe in any other way you can't watch on Prime.

If you're an Amazon Prime Video subscriber, you still need to subscribe separately to watch channels like Discovery+ through Prime Video Channels.
