Dimwitted Login Process

How can I login to Virgin Media apps using a username and password? I do not want to use two factor authentication unless I am performing something like a password change or managing contact details, payments.

When I am using TV Go for example, I simply want to type in a username and password. I do not want an email with a link sent to the mailbox of someone who may not be at home or contactable or be able to access their email to click a link at that time.

Two factor is fine and admirable but when you have multiple individuals in a household that all want to use Virgin Media, relying on the email account of just one of those individuals is impractical.

    Thanks for reaching out to us Davidgodf, and we're sorry to hear of the frustration over the two factor authentication.

    We would advise that any devices using TV Go should only need to complete the two factor authentication upon first logging in and devices can then remain logged in without issue.

    Further log ins on registered devices shouldn't require further two factor authentication to be completed.

    Up to 5 devices can be registered and remain logged in at any one time with a maximum of 2 using the service simultaneously.

    Initial two factor authentication cannot be switched off or bypassed.
