Delayed installation and fed lied.
Brief summary of my Torrid experience with VM.
I requested a move date on 23/1/25. The installation was booked in for 30/1/25. I specifically told VM the engineer needs to call me on arrival as there is no doorbell due to no internet. After waiting at home all day I see a note in the letter box saying they’ve missed us.
Installation was then rearranged to 5/2/25.
The engineer came and said there is no cable and a pre pull is needed. Rearranged to 19/2/25.
I called VM the following day (6/2/25) and was told the pre pull was happening that day.
I called back on 7/2/25 and was told the pre pull was happening that day.
I called on 8/2/25 and was told the same thing.
after raising a complaint and more phone calls everyday from 11/2/25 to 14/2/25 and having been told it’s been approved by the council, and another person telling me it’s not approved, and another person telling me I don’t need to call everyday. Installation was then changed to 13/3/25.
Still no sign of anything. Yesterday i got an email saying it’s changed to the 27th of March.
Every time I call I get told Pre pull is happening that day. I get told it won’t be long. I get told lies about the work has started (like I can’t just go look outside my window to see if there’s any work going on)
I have zero faith in VM actually sticking to any dates they give.
I even asked to cancel my contract with them and they had the audacity to say I need to pay a fee even though I’ve been without service for 2 months.
Absolute joke and nobody can actually give me an answer as to when I will have service.
