Debt relief order in place and Virgin won't do anything about it!!!
I have recently been assigned a debt relief order, which Virgin media is on the list for a missed payment. As I am legally discharged from this debt and all additional charges relating to it, I have been trying to get this amount deducted from my bill so we can at least set up a direct debit and return to a regular billing service.
Despite many calls and messages AND sending a paper copy of the debt relief order to the Reading office, I am STILL being chased for this outstanding amount and every month I am disconnected and my services are suspended. I phone up and am promised that the amount on the debt relief order will be deducted as they have the order, but every time they are lying and nothing changes!!! As someone who struggles with their mental health and has a disabled partner to care for, I am so fed up I am seriously considering cancelling everything and moving elsewhere. The speed of the internet is not worth the hassle I've had from Virgin!
