Currently paying £60.40 pcm for 250MB Broadband Only...
Per the title. Regrettably, I've been out of contract for five years and let the monthly price increase to over £60 per month, for M250 broadband only...
Got in touch with their live chat, they offered me either M250 for a new price of £28 per month (18 month contract) or 1GB for £39 per month (inclusive of a £5 per month O2 VOLT 4GB sim - also 18 month contract).
This is just the deals offered by live chat.
Is it worth the rigmarole of cancelling and waiting for some retentions/cancellations team to get in touch with a better deal, or is that as good as it gets? The Live chat agent was adamant that included all of his "personal discounts" (but it was also his first offer).
I have no use for the O2 sim - is there any way for me to cancel this and keep the speed benefit? The agent said it'd just be boosting the speed from 1000 to 1100 anyway (it's not 500 being 2X'd).
I don't really watch normal TV, but I do have Netflix/Disney, etc - maybe theres a better package deal I can ask for.
Any thoughts? Apologies for the probably very repetitive style of post. Any help appreciated.
