changing the account email address

Hello everyone,

  The google email address that I used to register my Virgin account has been banned by Google. I was therefore try to change the email address of Virgin account but it ask me to get a code from the banned email address, which I cannot access, to verify before adding a new email address.This is obviously a bug, how should I solve this situation?many thanks

  • Hi, I'm having a similar problem. I originally registered with my previous email addres which I no longer have access to.  I need to change my email address for my account and also for access to the app for TV control on my mobile phone, but at present I am going around in circles as it won't allow my new email address and I can't access the old address toclikc on the link it sends.  Can someone help me please?

      Welcome to our forums and thank you for your first post. Sorry to hear you are having issues changing your online account email address. Unfortunately we do no have access to make this change for you. You will have to call our team on 0345 454 1111 who can best help. This will also help you set up the new email on the account and get access to your account

    The verification email is for security reasons, this is to help ensure the person looking to change the email address is the account holder and it is a legitimate request.
