Change account connected to email

My email address is still.connected to my old account . I rejoined virgin later as a new customer but cannot access my virginmedia as it just shows my old closed down account. Can this be changed?

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the community. 

    To confirm, is this referring to a Virgin Media email address or a 3rd party one?

      Its a 3rd party email. Its all connected to my broadband account. 

      My old closed broadband account is still connected to it but I want it to be my new open account

    This seems to be what's called an email move and transfer. This is definitely something we can do for you, however we will need to pass security DPA on both your old and new account. I'm gonna send you a Private Message, so please look out for this.
