Can't register for Virgin Media account

Hello,

I am a very recent client who made a broadband contract with Virgin Media. I am trying to register for an account, however when I try to setup my password, the page goes to an infinite loop and doesn't update from there. I have been trying since yesterday and tried registering on different devices and different browsers and I always get the same result.

Would it be possible to help me sort this issue out?

  • Hey Jrui92, thank you for reaching out and  a very warm welcome to the community, we are so to hear you are having some trouble making an online account.

    Please remember you need to be an active customer to make an account, if you are waiting to be installed you won't be able to make an account just yet.

      Hi Matthew, thank you for the reply.

      I was trying to register because I received an email from vmteam@virginmedia.co.uk telling me to set up the account, which would allow me to track my order. I am sharing a screenshot below. The email also includes my account number and area reference code. And again, I am only having issues when I try to set up my password, not during any other stage.

      If I need to wait until I am an active costumer, why have I received this email?
