Can't change marketing consent settings

Anytime I tick the 'Sounds good! Keep me up to date' box and click save i just get an error.

"Sorry the changes you made were not saved, please try again later."

It's been doing it for days. Can someone from the forum team update it to enable this please?

    Sorry to hear you've not been able to make changes to your marketing and contact preferences. 

    It might be that this has already been requested and is in the process of changing. We can take a look and amend this on our side if needed. Please join me on private message so I can locate your account and pass account security. You can see your private messages at the top of the page, in the envelope icon or if you're using a smaller device, you can see your private messages by clicking on the Virgin Media logo at the top right and select 'Messages' from the drop down.
