cancelling broadband

Hi all.

I'm thinking of ending my broadband contract, I still have 10 months left but only have broadband (upto 350)

The prices keep going up and to say im only getting the 350 for £40 and going up again January area its bad.

I have had a amazing deal with this new one which fixes the price for 24 months with no rises.

Could you please tell me the amount i would pay to end contract (if i have to) as i have been with virgin as soon as they came round my area which is years.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply,I have rang and got 9 months left and gave me a fee.

The prices have gone up a lot with virgin with not very good speeds.

I have BRSK in my area and have a lot of people I know who have switched with very good reviews and half the price for upto 500mbs,virgin don’t  give long existing people good deals,we all have good deals when we start but still have price rises in with the contract with virgin.

I'm on universal credit for health reasons and BRSK honour this on a 24 months contract with NO price rises in the contract which I have.

      thanks for your reply.

      Tuning in

When you signed up to VM, you basically promised to pay them x£ per month for the next 18? months, and they will, not unfairly, hold you to that promise. So how many months are left in your minimum term contract, 9, 10? Multiply that by the monthly cost, and that, roughly, is how much VM will, legitimately expect you to pay them to leave early.
