Cancelled my contract

 My contract is due for renewal on 27th December. I currently pay £54.67 a month for Bigger Volt Bundle + Sports. I phoned Virgin as not happy with the price they were offering. The first person I spoke to said it would be over £100 for the deal I have to include TNT sports. I asked to be put through to the cancellations team. They came back with a price of £77.35 which will then go up in April with inflation plus 3.9%. I have been with Virgin 30 years +. I understand I'm not going to be paying £54.67 but this is a leap of £23.00 a month. BT's package for the same deal is £67.99 so why can't Virgin come back with a similar deal. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi, not a lot of help to your question but VM are increasing broadband bills by £3.50 per month from April 2025, also £1.80 a month for O2. Some other providers BT, EE and others are increasing by £3.

    Other users have reported that TNT was not included in their renewal. Make sure you get what you expected.
