My 18 month contact ended and a new one began a few days ago, without any information about it being sent to me.
I am within 14 days of the new contract, can I cancel without the massive cancellation fee? The new rate is way too much and I was not informed of the price hike at all.

VM contracts don’t end, they just revert to 30 day rolling. So at the end of 18 months your discount ends and you pay the full price every month. You can phone and negotiate a new 18 month cheaper deal or leave. There is no 14 day cooling off period after the 18 month change.
It says I have a new contract until 2026 and the cancellation fee is £586?
That’s very strange? Sounds like a change was made to your existing contract if a new one was generated? Or something is wrong.
It will take a couple of days for a VM Mod to respond, so you may be better ringing VM if your need is urgent.
