Broken Television

As part of my new customer package I was offered a new Smart TV.   On unpacking the television it became apparent that the screen was cracked but this was not obvious until the power was switched on.  I have tried to contact Virgin Media to report this and request a replacment but it does not fit into any of the complaints options.  I did manage to speak to someone and get a fault reference number but no one was come back to me and the tracking facility under MY Cases does not seem to exist.  Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Any gifts that you have received from us are handled by our partner Exertis on 01282 858 484, this would also include any damages due to delivery or manufacturing issues, any reference numbers that they will give you will not be our on Virgin Media systems as they act independently from us with any gifts as part of a package.
