Blueyonder email hacked

My wife’s email was hacked on Friday. Emails were deleted and about 6 blackmail emails received. Changed password for email account. Numerous emails being received saying passwords change  various accounts ie Facebook, X, instagram and Microsoft. Do not understand how these accounts are being changed having changed my email password to a strong one, not receiving emails with a code to change only emails advising the password has been changed. All applications had the passwords changed to strong generated ones. Receiving 100’s of emails mainly going straight to bin and junk and a number into the inbox all looking to have come from my wife’s email which we presume are scams they all see to be job offers. Log in attempts are from all over the planet. Struggling to resolve and no options to contact virgin any help greatly received as this is impacting my wife’s well being and is very stressful. Wife has also lost access to Instagram, having had to change X passwords on half a dozen occasions as a result of it being frequently changed has now deactivated the account.

    Welcome back to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that your wife is having with her email account at the moment. is your wife's email account attached to a Virgin Media account in your name or hers? We're asking this as we're only able to speak to the account holder to resolve such issues as we need to carry out actions that can only be agreed and discussed with the account holder.
