Awaiting a cheque

Hi, I’m a new member and joined virgin in April, my install was delayed until June and I was advised I ad compensation and would receive a cheque, I’ve been chasing since June for this and been advised it’s being escalated but still received nothing, forts it was 14 days then another 14 days then 30 to 45 days, still nothing so chased again and another 14 days, should I just give up expecting this cheque? Not a good impression for a new customer. Any advice or assistance would be welcome

The only reliable way you are likely to get your money is to submit a formal complaint to VM first of all. This is a required first step to then allow you to go to the ombudsman as below

    https://www.commsombudsman.org/our-process

There have been countless topics on here where VM has failed to pay the correct compensation. The odds for success with the ombudsman are in your favour

A VM person should reply here within a few days and may offer to help in order to avoid all the hassle of the above (although if you have been waiting since June, don't mess around on here for too much longer)
