Area code

I was trying to link my mobile account to o2 however I don’t know my area code for Bedford, Bedfordshire. Can someone help

    We'd need the postcode just to confirm your area code - if you can please send this over? 

    You can also find your area code on your contract and billing information, next to where your account number is listed. (These docs can be found via My VM 👉 virg.in/myVM or the original emails where they were sent to you.)

      Hi johuraa thanks for your reply here.

      So we've tried to check our systems for this, and it is not showing as a serviceable postcode that we have.

      We've mentioned you've said O2 rather than Virgin Media, so is the sign-in process asking you for an area code for us?

    it’s for virgin mobile/sim I have 4 sim contracts from you and this is the postcode MK42 6AD

      Thanks for replying johuraa. All our Virgin Mobile SIMS/Contracts have now been transferred over to O2.

      The only accounts we have are the loan agreements, where a customer got a handset on a 24 month agreement and paid for their SIM separately.

        Hi,

        Your answer is totally wrong when I tried to link virgin mobile to o2, it’s clearly asking for area code why can’t you just give the area code and that’s it 

  • Looked at the first reply from molly was saying just to confirm what I need area code for mobile or other services 

  • I don’t understand you guys making it so complicated unnecessarily before reading full questions

      Hi johuraa, we're sorry to hear you feel this way.

      We've not offered Virgin Mobile SIM cards for at least 18 months, and any accounts that were still active were migrated. 

      As such, to discuss them, you’ll need to speak to O2 customer services using the contact details provided here

        I have spoken with o2 it’s clearly asked for account number, surname and area code to link o2 account (previous virgin mobile /sim holder) o2 saying only you can provide area code it’s from 1 -30 number to select which ever one is right for the area. Even o2 said they don’t do area code like this I have screen of it

        why can’t someone just find out area code for MK42 6AD and I can try to login

      That is to link a Virgin Media account to O2 and the VMO2 ID, nowhere in your posts have you mentioned Virgin Media just Virgin Mobile. As this doesn't exist anymore (in regards to Tariffs) as they were all migrated to O2 nearly 2 years ago we're struggling to understand what it is you're trying to link?

        when I tried to login VMo2 it’s automatically asked to link your account (old virgin sims) now o2 without doing this I can’t see any way to see my online account
