Ive been looking on their packages on their website (and trying to contact VM) but there's a ton of them and some include O2 sims and things which we don't want/need.
A few points to make here.
1: VM operate a multi-bundle discounting system - the more services you take, the lower the per-unit price. With telephony especially, the discounts are sufficiently generous that the "with" price is often cheaper than the "without" - and thus removing services actually increases the price.
If that extends to a bundle with unwanted extras costing less, then ask yourself whether those extras are going to inconvenience you. If not, are they worth having just to get the extra discount?
2: VM is a cable-delivered pay-TV platform, Sky is a satellite-delivered pay-TV platform, Freeview & Freesat are FTA terrestrial & satellite-platforms respectively. Thus yes, most modern TV's have in-built Freeview, but check the manual to be sure.
2: You will only need a satellite dish if you want to receive satellite transmissions, be it Freesat or Sky pay.
