Account Number

Hi,

I have recently joined Virgin Media when moving into my new house however am unable to access areas such as My Virgin Media because I was never sent my account number via email or in a physical welcome pack. 

I was wondering if there was a way to find the number outside of this, thank you for your help.

    Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

    We're sorry to hear you've not yet received your account details. Whilst we're not able to give you the account number directly, we can check some details and get your contract resent with the information you need. 

    In order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security so I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

  • I am facing the same problem, new joiner no bill no account number no email nothing, can anyone help pls ? this appears to be a recurring issue I am surprise VM still havent addressed this.

    we are facing some technical issues with our internet (has only been place like a week) and every time we try to call the help line 0345 454 1111 we are asked for an account number... ????

      Welcome to the Community Forums. 

      Sorry to hear that you've not had any communications from us regarding your account number. 

      Can you confirm if your services have been installed or if you are still waiting for this to be completed? If you're not yet installed, then you would need to speak with the pre-installation team on 0800 052 1734. They'll be available between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday, and then 8am-5pm over the weekend.

        Hello Carley_S,

        The service is installed and I do have Internet connection (lower than expected). How can I get my account number?

  • Hello I can’t find a welcome email or an account number on a physical bill which means I’m struggling to set up my virgin media app and pay a direct debit

      Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having trying to find your account information. On a physical bill, your account number and area reference should be on the top right of the first page of the bill below the billing period and direct debit date.

  • Yea I have the same problem. I have my contract but the Account number and Area code are not shown. Please contact me direct Virgin team

  • I have been a year with virgin media and I have spoken to people over the phone to make sure spelling is correct but noone seems to be getting it right. I need access to my account number and I need proof of payment throughout the whole year. Thanks

      Hi, I am also having the exact same problem. I never received a welcome email with an account number, and every time I try to reset my password to my account the email never goes through. I've tried calling to speak to a real person and get help with this, but because I don't have a password and was never able to make an account, I can't get through. Can I receive some assistance, please?
