My Dad 91 is currently in hospital following a stroke and likelihood of returning home unknown. Account is in my Dads name but I am the bill payer. Am I able to manage account on his behalf as he is out of his contact and have no idea when or even if a return home is likely. My Dads speech and cognition has been affected and would not be able to speak to an agent.
Do you have a power-of-attorney for your Dad's affairs?
