Web safe not working when enabled

Unlike some posts here, I want Child Safe to work.

It's been on since the start. However, it seems to have stopped since a few days ago. I thought it was my phone at first, but now I am testing on the PC, it turns out this is to do with the Child Safe feature not working.
I've tried a router reboot but that has not fixed it.

Despite the options showing as enabled on the Account Settings page, I can still access
- Inappropriate sites that are included as default
- Sites that I added in manually

I am not on any VPN. All my network settings on the PC is automatic, so DNS is default. I changed to Virgin DNS manually too, but that still doesn't work.

Tried from my mobile, with all default settings, doesn't work. Set DNS server to VM's one: doesn't work either.

Please could you check my account and get this sorted.

    Well, 4 days later my child safe is FINALLY working again, but make no mistake, not ONE Virgin Media employee helped me. No one reached out to me with a message on this forum despite having 3 different mods reply to me, one even sent the message to the WRONG PERSON and when I pointed out that they fixed everyone elses but not mine, they actually said glad to have helped. I'm actually speechless that i reached out to virgin media on 3 different platforms and no one helped me. I think the child safe just started working by itself, one thing i did try was leaving it off for a good ten hours then turning it on again, but I have no idea if that helped. When i made a phone call to the Virgin Media team, one agent actually had the audacity to tell me to try manually reporting problematic websites. DO THEY KNOW HOW MANY WEBSITES ARE OUT THERE??? I'm actually lost for words. 4 days of waiting around for nothing.

    I'd suggest that you check it regularly to make sure it doesn't fail again.

    Does not work on my account either. 

    Can someone a VM explain why this is a problem?
