Want to protect my outside junction box

Topics in the past on here have sometimes asked for a protective cover for the omnibox (usually when the box is in a public place). I don't recall seeing a ready-made item on here.

You might be able to get a local metalwork fabricator to make something for you. You could also try your local electrical wholesaler to see if they can provide a metal enclosure to go over the box (a box within a box). The electrical wholesaler will probably also sell galvansied capping to cover the cable.

I'd politely suggest though that there are various points at which a burglar could disable a domestic internet connection. 21st century criminals seem to be little-bothered by the presence of CCTV so disabling it may not be that important to them. More likely they would be interested in getting in and out of a property as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your concerns regarding security and CCTV however we'd be unable to support or advise you on such a security matter as that's out of our scope.
In this instance, we'd like to just explain that our street cabinets could receive visits from our engineers at any point of time and without a booked appointment you'd be made aware of, for maintenance and service-related works.
This would mean that we need to ensure our staff has access to the site and cabinet at all times.

It’s very easy to disable WiFi. Have you got the cameras located so that none can be disabled without being in the view of another camera. Most people don’t bother with this and leave themselves wide open.
