Virgin media sales rep identity check

I would like to confirm that a person knocking on my door is a legitimate employee from Virgin Media. Can I ask for a PM?

    Please could I also ask for a sales rep's identity to be confirmed. I am interested in taking up the deal they offered but obviously want to confirm they are legitimate since the offer is from someone who knocked on my door.

    Last Friday 4 July 25 a male wearing clothing with Virgin Media insignia called at my door. He stated that VM Fibre had just been installed and available in the TW5 9SB area. Having been a previous VM customer I was interested. We had some discussions about deals but he claimed that it was too late to conclude any sign-on due to VM offices being close. The time was about 8:30 pm or later. He was then to return on Sat 5 July at 1 pm to conclude a sign-on, reminding me a number times of the Sat date and the 1 pm designated visit time.                                              As of date, Thu 10 Jul 25, said VM sales rep has not returned. ????

     I am a bit reticent to give the individual's name on an open forum - note: can you advise accordingly how I can identify this individual to you. My concern is as follows - VM is NOT AVAILABLE in TW5 9SB area ? ? ? ? ? ?

      Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

      We're sorry to hear the sales advisor didn't return on the agreed date. 

      If the fibre has only recently been installed, it may not show on the postcode checker page here as of yet.

      Does your full address show as serviceable?

      Did you provide any personal details to the sales advisor? Or was the discussion just around the available deals?
