My Virginmedia IP address is being blocked by Spamhaus?

Both my iphone and ipad and my wifes and daughters iphones now will not access the ios mail app to collect mail.

Virgin say it is not there problem and i have discovered the main ip is blocked by spamhaus.org.

Not sure what to do except leave virgin?

It only started after i upgraded from 250 to 350 broadband 3 days ago.

Any help appreciated

    Can we ask if you're able to view the email address through webmail via your online account here 

    When you upgraded the speed, were you supplied with a new Hub?

    So which Spamhaus blocklist does your IP address appear on?

    You can check by entering your VM IP address into this link https://check.spamhaus.org/ 

    If it's only on their Policy Blocklist (PBL)  then that's definitely NOT the reason your VM email is failing. Every VM domestic broadband IP address will (or at least should be) on the PBL.

    That's not just me saying that.  You will see on the results page that Spamhaus themselves say:

    If you are just using the IOS mail app to manage your VM emails then the PBL listing is not affecting your VM email account. VM do not block VM emails sent to or from  IP addresses that appear on the PBL unless you are running your own email server from your domestic broadband.

    On the other hand if you are on the Spamhaus SBL that is likely to be a problem - see here
