Calls from +44 saying they’re VM

Received a call from +44 [REMOVED] to upgrade my fibre and possibly my mobile phone contracts.  Price offered for fibre was better than what I am paying now and it’s three times faster. Only issue was I wasn’t too convinced that it was indeed VM as the details they had for the data, cost etc for my handset was incorrect which left me concerned and therefor didn’t take the deal offered. 

Anyone else experienced this? Am I going to regret not taking the offer 🤦🏻‍♂️
