A new feature update for Windows 10 this morningAfter running scandisk as Administrator

Getting the above updates now. The 22H2 initial download only took about 15 minutes to fully install. No problems so far.

Looks like MS is back to its old tricks again inflicting new 'features' and settings on users.This update saw a search bar spontaneously appear on the taskbar of my PC despite being turned off pre-update.Upon rebooting W10 launched into the device setup screen requesting confirmation of privacy settings, setting up a MS account etc. etc. This can be stopped in future by going to Settings>>System>>Notifications and actions and unchecking 'Show me the Windows welcome experience after updates and occasionally when I sign in, to highlight what's new and suggested' and also 'Suggest ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows'KB5001716, recently installed, also seems significant in that this will start nagging/forcing updates to the latest version of W10.Also read this week (unrelated to the above) that MS has now stopped allowing old licence keys from W7 and W8 to be used to activate copies of W10 on yet-to-be-updated hardware. Haven't tried this to confirm.

250MB wasn't enough.I set it to over 2GB which sorted the error, as mentioned above.

  Had nothing but problems with this update; took ages for nothing to happen followed by a crash on 100% installed, along with more faffing about with error messages. Windows (10) doesn't tell you its automatically installing stuff. Took well over 6 hours to sort out. I downloaded several stand alone installers from the security catalog (x32 and ARM) then the x64 (correct) version. Windows Update then installed it successfully, wasting even more time.

If you need a Windows 10 22H2 ISO, it may be wise to create a USB installation stick, before it's gone forever.
