mDNS/multicast protocol / IGMP Snooping ??

Question

I'm trying to get an Eve outdoor camera set up (and failing miserably). Eve have asked me to check

That mDNS/multicast protocol is not blocked on your router or other network devices
That IGMP Snooping (if available) is enabled

I have no idea what this is nor how to do this. Could anyone offer some advice please?

The only point I will make is to use PoE cameras, or other wired methods.&nbsp; Wifi is not a great solution for security cameras.

+1 on use POE camera(s).&nbsp; &nbsp;Multicast over WiFi is less than ideal, and in many access points not supported at all.&nbsp;
