Can't reset hub/create VMO2 ID

I can't reset the hub as I can't create a VMO2 ID.  Have tried the passkey method which ends up being greyed out.  I can't get the other methods to work either.  Upshot is, I can't access my account.  Can't tell if the problem is with VM, Microsoft, Windows 10 or the rather janky way (which makes it difficult to invert the hub) its set up.

Don't know what else I can do to sort it.

  • Tried a factory reset whilst backing up the old configuration.  Will see how it goes.  Creating a VMO2 ID is still problematic.

      just register an account with O2 community forum using the same details as your VM account as the forums haven't merged as yet. Use your new email ID if you are with another provider as you can't use VM email if you left VM

      If you no longer have the use of VM email,  change  in your VM settings to your current email  ID to suit, submit your new email ID to both forums to get a conformation email from both.
