spam call? They have my details what to do.
Hi i requested to disconnect my virgin media after dreadfull customer service and poor quality connection. The next day i received a call from an 0203 9804396 from VM outbound team. They said they 2nd tier and can offer further discounts they asked all my infomation and secuirty info. They told me to disconnect with my new provider. I follwed this up with virgin media today they said we did not call you. Was this a spam? What do i need to do now? Virgin media offered no advise on the call today. Multiple calls from +44 800 052 1251 which is a verified virgin media number. Spoke to complaints service over the phone after sending an email. They said I would not receive anymore calls after the system updates my preferences. I already had my marketing preferences switched off and I am still getting calls and silent voicemails. I am considering switching providers as I have only been with you since November 2023 and getting phone call after phone call. Even when I block the number they leave silent messages on voicemail. It’s getting really frustrating. I am aware our numbers are put into an automated system so each caller isn’t aware but it is a ridiculous system.
