Contract Automatically Renewed Without Notification After Moving Home
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone here can help or share advice. I recently discovered that my Virgin Media contract was automatically renewed for another 18 months without my knowledge or consent. I moved home last year, and at no point was I informed that my contract would restart, I also ahvent received any new contract to my email address, also its not visible in my virgin account. There were no changes to my package, and I was never notified about a new contract starting. I havent signed or agreed anything. Every time I spoke to someone from Virgin Media, whether by chat or phone, they insisted that the contract restarted because of the move last year. BUT!!! However, I still have my original contract which clearly states the end date as June 2025, and there is nothing in it about the contract restarting upon moving. In fact, when my contract expired in June 2025, Virgin started charging me the higher out-of-contract rate, which contradicts the claim that I was in a new contract. Why i should pay an out-of-contract rate if my contract is renewed? From what I’ve seen, it looks like this has happened to lot of people here. What can be done in a case like this? Has anyone managed to resolve a similar situation? Thanks in advance!40Views0likes2CommentsWill it ever be installed?
Hi everyone. I just moved to Limehouse in London I signed up for Virgin on November 18th. I selected my installation date as December 7th. As you can guess.. this was delayed. The new date I was given was December 27th. I was contacted on December 22nd about a new delay which is this time until February 7th 2024. Nearly 2 and a half months since my sign up date. Crazy. I've called multiple times and spoken with the pre-install team and each day I was told the works happening in my street would happen that day and they never do. I have also sent an email to the CEO / Executive team - 28 day response time so not expecting anything soon. Anyway... Does anyone actually think they have capability to add this to my street? It feels like I've been sold a product they cannot deliver and won't be able to anytime soon. If you are in Limehouse do not sign up for this. ThanksSolvedWayleave
Hi, we are in need of a wayleave agreement with two neighbours. they require digging of the cables but we are having difficulty establishing where this will be. As in agreement with my neighbour they do not want to sign the wayleave without knowing the detailed digging route plan. Why is it so hard for anyone to provide this information. As if the agreement is refused then can virgin not come up with an agreed route which does not require digging under my neighbours grass and just down the sides? has any one had any luck contacting anyone from virgin media or wayleave team as I seem to be going round in circles and they want to send someone out again in two weeks time when that just delays the installation even further (already at 4weeks since ordering) why can’t someone just talk to me on the phone to clarify this information.787Views0likes2Comments
