Online Recontract - removing TNT sports
I just reconstructed myself online for broadband and TV, with an upgrade of my broadband speed to Gig1 for an excellent price. I have all the contract documents etc. However, I was unable to remove TNT sports which is £18 a month and I don’t use (contract information stipulates 30 day monthly rolling so I figured I could remove any time). Calling them is useless. Last time I recontracted online and wanted to make an adjustment they cancelled the whole thing and it took many phone calls and much frustration to get the original online deal price back. I had an email offering me a deal on recontracting on 3 Feb and clicked through the link to do this on 7 Feb. I received emails with the order documents and the order summary almost immediately, checking that there wasn't any other actions required from me within the emails; there were not. However I've received and email on 13 March and today (20 March) saying that my contract runs out on 21 April. The emails also offered me a recontract offer of a fixed price until 31 March 2025. On logging into My Virgin Media app, and eventually finding where I can view my contract, I do not see any contact relating to the renewal I did in February.
