Lost ntlworld Inbox emails
Hi - all of my e-mails (from my Inbox only) dated 12/Jan/2025 and older have gone missing from my live ntlworld mailbox. This is years of messages that have gone missing but, oddly, Sent Items and old messages I have moved to subfolders are still present. In my Inbox, I can only see e-mails dated 13/Jan/2025 or newer. I am a current member of VM (TV, telephone, broadband all through VM) - can anyone assist? -- Thanks
Lost email account access - Ntlworld.
Hi, Hopefully someone can help. My primary email for about 25 years has been an @ntlworld one, however a few days ago I started getting an account error message when trying to access. I've tried Outlook on my Laptop, the Mail app on my iPhone and by logging into the website (https://mail.virginmedia.com/) and I get an error on all 3. I've also tried the reset password and that doesn't work either. I am currently a Virgin customer but this Ntlworld email account isn't linked to my current account it was linked to my recently deceased Farther's account that has been closed down and transferred to my mother. Is there any way of regaining access to this? and linking my Ntlworld email to my virgin account? Even if it's just so I can migrate all my contacts/emails over to a 'newer' email address. I was asked to generate a new App password when trying to access my ntlworld email address via the android app. I completed this process and undated the new generated password into my App server settings. This appeared to work and I can still send and receive emails via the android app on my phone. Unfortunately I'm now unable to access my ntlworld emails via any Web browser. It does recognise the email address or password. So I've tried to use the "reset password" on my ntlworld email address but it does not appear to recognise my email address. My main virgin media account is on a different email address which I don't use for email. If I entered my main VM account email address I'm worried it will reset that password rather than my email ntlworld address. Any help greatly apricated Karl
